Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Black Ops 2 is the newest addition to the Call of Duty series, which is a first person shooter game in which you follow a storyline and complete several tasks to be able to win the game.  

Black Ops 2 has two different connected storylines, one set in the past during the Cold War, and the other set in the future (2025) during the fictional second Cold War.  This is the first in the Call of Duty series to have a futuristic setting with futuristic weapons that do not yet exist. The game has a variety of endings that is decided by the choices the player makes and the missions completed. One you have completed the single player main mission, you can also play in multi-player mode online with others or you can play in Zombie mode.

Evaluation:

Most of the video games are played for fun until you beat enemy and then it’s over. But in tournaments call of duty black ops 2 the fun doesn’t end just because you beat the game. There are loads of other modes to play in and things to explore .The Zombie mode has become a cult favorite, with new and inventive ways to survive in an apocalypse situation. The newest Zombie map release takes place on Alcatraz in the 1930’s. A group of prisoners tries to escape only to be confronted with hordes of zombies they must kill in order to get off the island.  It’s a lot of fun, and also a cool look at how Alcatraz might have been back in the 30’s (minus the zombies).

This game is the most popular game ever… literally. It has sold more copies and most of the people download Call of Duty Black Ops 2 than any other game in the history of video games. Teenagers love it, especially the zombie mode.
